Travel to Namibia
The Republic of Namibia is one of the most sparsely populated countries in all of Africa. It is found right along the southern Atlantic coast and has been independent from South Africa since 1990. The lands of Namibia are remarkably dry, despite its coastal location, but they have also been rich for agricultural and mining opportunities.
Sometimes Namibia is referred to as “Africa for Beginners.” It is a place where you will find sand dunes meeting the mountains and coastal resorts offering numerous opportunities to relax. You’ll also find plenty of safari opportunities here, since it is a land that has become the stomping ground of elephants, zebras, and other savannah-based wildlife. You can explore nature preserves and parks or strike out on your own to see the desert lions and black rhinos.
The culture of Namibia is quite stable, offering you a warm and welcoming atmosphere during your stay. There is a certain sense of untamed wilderness that graces your senses during a visit, even if you’re staying at a posh hotel. It is a land that is filled with sheer, natural beauty that is backed by the perfection provided by one of the world’s oldest deserts.
Wildlife is prolific in Namibia, which means the exploration opportunities are as well. Life has adapted to the desert here and so will you during your stay. Whether you enjoy an authentic dining experience down by the shore or you enjoy the hospitality of a private reserve, there is something for everyone to find in Namibia.
