How do you get the cheapest tickets to Jaipur ?
Jaipur is one of northern India’s greatest cities, and one of the nation’s best travel destinations. Called the ‘Pink City’ due to its uniquely colored architecture, Jaipur takes up its place on India’s ‘Golden Triangle’ with stunning temples, vibrant culture, beautiful parks, and more. During your Jaipur vacation, you’ll be able to sample Indian delicacies, shop for local clothing and crafts, and mingle at bustling nightclubs. Magnificent palaces and towering forts dominate the cityscape, providing ample opportunity for exploration.
Jaipur’s layout, unlike other cities built at the time of its construction, is orderly and planned. The city’s six quarters spread from a central palace district that includes a lake and beautiful gardens. If you stay near the old quarter, you’ll be surrounded by the city’s famous pink buildings, as the area is now mandated to keep its color. Downtown houses many of the city’s busiest restaurants, shops, and nightclubs, so you’ll have plenty of entertainment options within walking distance if you choose to stay nearby. You’ll find hospitable locals no matter where you stay during your Jaipur vacation.

What to see and do in Jaipur ?
Jaipur is full of incredible sites that never fail to impress visitors. The observatory, or Jantar Mantar, is on the UNESCO World Heritage list, and you’ll quickly see why. With fourteen huge devices measuring astrological and geometric values like star orbits and the passage of time, the observatory is a stunning tribute to India’s incredible mathematical prowess, as most of the instruments were built over 250 years ago.
Jaipur’s three forts provide endless hours of enjoyment and exploration. Amber, mentioned above, has more than just a light show. Inside, thousands of mirrors in the Sheesh Mahal reflect light in dazzling patterns that play on walls and eyes. If you want to, you’ll be able to get to the fort on an elephant’s back, a crazy and fun experience that kids will never forget. Jaigarh, the strongest of the three forts, houses the world’s largest cannon, beautiful gardens, and a commanding view of the countryside. Nahargarh, the last of the fortifications, provides excellent lake views.
Like any great Indian city, Jaipur has many beautiful palaces that are open to visitors. The main city palace complex is located in the old town area, and has many different magnificent structures, courtyards, and gardens. Housing a museum, stunning gateway, and more, the palace is a stunning site. The city’s other great palace is the Jal Mahal, or Water Palace, which is located in the center of the Man Sagar Lake. This incredible building sees its reflection on the waters of the lake, which fills with water and hyacinths during the monsoon season.
Jaipur also houses many important temples that are frequented by the region’s many different religious followers. With structures ranging from the magnanimous to the reserved, built of everything from marble to stone, the temples offer endless hours of enjoyment. At the Monkey Temple on the outskirts of town, you can feed some of the city’s Rhesus Macaque monkeys.
