Search cheapest vacation in Los Cabos
How do you get the cheapest tickets to Los Cabos ?
Los Cabos, Mexico’s fastest growing vacation destination, has a reputation for stylish, luxurious accommodations, a fun party atmosphere, spectacular beaches and stunning scenery. This beautiful resort area is situated on the tip of the Baja peninsula between the Pacific and the Sea of Cortes. Los Cabos consists of bustling Cabo San Lucas, the quieter San Jose del Cabo, and the 20-mile Corridor area that connects the two. The restaurants are world-class, the bars and clubs are always hopping, and when you’re done with all of the excitement, you can enjoy one of the area’s plush spas.
No matter your travel style, there’s a spot in Los Cabos for you. If you’re looking for funky bars and nonstop action, go to Cabo San Lucas, or ‘Cabo’. This party central is also home to some of the area’s top beaches, a luxurious mall around the marina, and sport fishing charter boats. If you’re looking for more peace and quiet, San Jose del Cabo offers historic charm and a more relaxing pace. The Corridor, a desert area that connects the two, features top resorts, restaurants and golf courses. All three areas offer a mix of all-inclusive properties, hotel-chains, and charming inns, so you’ll find the perfect spot in Los Cabos.
Los Cabos is famous for its fishing, and it’s easy to hop on a charter excursion for top catches like marlin, swordfish and yellowtail. Outdoor activities abound in San Lucas; golf, horseback riding and swimming with the dolphins are all opportunities here. One of the area’s top draws is the dramatic gray whale migration that takes place from December to April. These whales flock here for the average winter temperatures of 78F, and so should you!
For more relaxing outdoor fun, hit the beautiful beaches of Los Cabos for waters from the Pacific Ocean to the Gulf of California. You can access the gorgeous Playa del Amor – Lover’s Beach – by water taxi. A perfect contrast, Divorce Beach, with beautiful sand but choppy Pacific surf that’s too rough for surfing, is within walking distance from Cabo San Lucas. Beautiful Bahia Santa Maria nestled along the Corridor is ringed by cactus-covered cliffs and has calm, clean waters. Chileno Beach, in a newly developed area between Can San Lucas and San Jose del Carbo, is a quieter beach option for tranquil days.
There are many places to admire the dramatic landscape of Los Cabos El Arco de Cabo San Lucas is a spectacular rock formation and whale watching spot San Jose’s Estuary and Bird Sanctuary has osprey, pelicans, and maybe even sea turtles too. Land’s End, an arch formation at the tip of the Baja Peninsula is the well-known symbol of the area.
No trip to Los Cabos is complete without sampling the area’s fantastic dining and thriving nightlife. There’s a wide variety of dance clubs, ocean front bars, and music venues for late night entertainment. The excellent restaurants range from taquerias to casual cafes to super-modern dining rooms with world-class chefs.
