There are two markets that you can find in Santa Eularia des Rio. Punta Arabi is located in Es Canar and it runs daily from April thru October. The other is Las Dalias, which can be found near Sant Carles. It runs only on Saturdays, but is available throughout the year. A night market on Monday and Tuesday evenings is available at Las Dalias during the summer months as well.
One cannot ignore the seafront and the beach in Santa Eularia des Rio. The promenade is well-developed and the beach is wide and clean. Even during the summer months, there is plenty of space available so you don’t feel crowded. You can’t beat the views either, with Puig d’en Fita guarding your time.
On a hill above the town is the impressive Puig de Missa, a church that was converted from a mosque. It is a fortified structure, constructed in the traditional whitewashed style, but with a domed roof. The watch tower dates to the 16th century and is thought to be the oldest in the region. It is a steep walk to get there, but it is also the central point of many of the town’s festivals.
Santa Eularia des Rio provides you with the nightlife you want, the beaches you love, and plenty of opportunities to explore. Bring your swimsuit and some comfortable shoes for a wonderful experience.
