Travel to Sint Maarten
Sint Maarten is officially the “Dutch side” of the island of Saint Martin. Located in the northeastern part of the Caribbean, it is the smallest inhabited island in the world that is shared by two governments. You can also go visit the “French side,” which is Saint-Martin.
When traveling to Sint Maarten, the top priority is always the beach. There are 37 formal beaches in total, with some private beaches sometimes accessible with the correct permissions. Most hotels are located on the beach and you’ll have access to bars, a café, and other amenities while you enjoy some time on the warm sands.
One advantage that comes with a visit to Sint Maarten (as compared to the French side) is that you have access to casinos. You’ll find several options in Phillipsburg, along with locations in Cole Bay, Cupecoy, and Maho.
If you’re looking for a family-friendly experience, try spending an afternoon at Kid Connect. It is a place that offers games, a reading area, an arts and crafts spot, and internet access.
Having a cold drink in your hand is a pastime in Sint Maarten. Ensuring that drink is alcohol is also a top priority. Not only will you find the pricing on cocktails and beer to be quite affordable, you’ll find that you can purchase alcoholic beverages almost anywhere. Even the McDonald’s offers Heineken.
Visiting Sint Maarten, or the French side if you prefer, makes for a fun and relaxing adventure. It is a holiday destination that provides consistent enjoyment.
