Travel to US Virgin Islands

The US Virgin Islands are an insular territory of the United States, but not an official state. Travel to the islands is under the same requirements as traveling to any other US destination. These islands are known for beautiful white sand beaches, incredible coral reefs, and trekking opportunities.

The Virgin Islands consist of many islands available for its visitors to stay. The three main islands are Saint Croix, Saint John, and Saint Thomas. Most of the accommodations are located on these three islands. The most popular are the cities of Frederiksted on Saint Croix, Christiansted on Saint John, and Charlotte Amalie on Saint Thomas. These cities are great for families and friends who look for fun in the beaches and the cities. Water Island is perfect for romantic couples with its ‘honeymoon beaches’ and tranquil tropical nature.

If you want the premier beach experience that the USVI offers, then make your way to Trunk Bay. You’ll find one of the best underwater snorkeling trails in the world there, supported by a well-developed beach. The history of the Caribbean is one that features piracy, which is an exploration opportunity to be embraced when visiting these islands as well. A visit to Blackbeard’s Castle, for example, can provide you with a wonderful view of the harbor. Guided tours of the facilities are also available.

A stay in the US Virgin Islands is incomplete without visiting Coral World Ocean Park. You’ll find aquariums and other ocean-based attractions there to enjoy before you head out to the numerous beaches on a warm afternoon.

Nightlife options are just as varied as the beaches in the US Virgin Islands. Live music, art and wine festivals, and theater are all available throughout the year with the carefree attitude that the Caribbean is known for having. Deep sea fishing, sailing, kayaking, and other water activities are readily available. Staying at a USVI resort may allow you to book activities at the same time as your stay. Let us know what interests you and we’ll work to put together a fantastic package for the perfect holiday.
