Travel to Bangladesh
The People’s Republic of Bangladesh may be one of the world’s smaller nations, but it is in the top 10 for its population size. It is a place where natural wonders seem to be everywhere, with beautiful vistas available to those who are willing to seek them out. You will find the world’s largest delta as part of this country, the largest mangrove forest in the world, and opportunities to the endangered Bengal tiger.
That is just to get you started. It’s maritime territory within the Bay of Bengal is nearly the same size as its land area. You’ll find access to islands, diving opportunities to stunning coral reefs, and plenty of marine activities. Be sure to visit Cox’s Bazar Beach during your stay along the coast. It is also a world’s best. At 120km, it is the longest unbroken sea beach in the world. At low tide, the width can stretch to 400m.
A holiday in Bangladesh, however, can be as simple or as complex as one wishes. You can tour historic mosques, visit archeological sites, view monuments, trek through forests, or bake in the sun on the beach. River cruises, yachting, surfing, and angling are all possibilities as well.
Yet the greatest treasure of all that you’ll find in Bangladesh are its people. Communities want to get to know you, establish relationships, and become friends during your stay. You’ll be asked many questions simply because they are being amiable.
Although Bangladesh isn’t always one of the top destinations for a holiday, perhaps it should be. There are amazing opportunities to explore and one can’t help but have a smile on their face during much of their visit to this unique nation and culture.
