Travel to Malaysia

Malaysia is a small island nation that shares many cultural and historical influences with the other countries in this region between Asia and Australia.  Since its independence 1957, it has been one of the most consistently thriving economies and cultures in the region.

There are several landmarks in this country that encourage visitors to spend some time exploring them. This includes the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, the museums of Malacca City, and the rainforest access and beaches of Kota Kinabalu. For a unique cultural experience, visitors can also explore the colonial landscapes that are available in George Town.

Medical tourism is also popular in Malaysia, with nearly 1 million foreign patients treated annually for a variety of conditions.

There are numerous tropical islands to explore, with many of them consistently voted as some of the most beautiful in the world. Rawa Island offers visitors an opportunity to relax on clean white sand beaches, enjoy their preferred water sports, and enjoy interacting with the white doves that inhabit the island with easy ferry access.

There are also several national parks that can offer visitors access to classic landscapes. Some include spelunking opportunities. One park even declares that you’ll have the opportunity to explore the World’s Oldest Rainforest throughout Terengganu, Kelantan, and Pahang.

Malaysia is a warm and welcoming world that is waiting to embrace you. Plan your trip here and you’ll be able to create an interesting and relaxing time away that will leave you craving more.

Best of Malaysia

This exciting jungle wonderland is a must visit for adventurers. Explore the jungles and scale the granite mountains that lie here. Visit the endangered Orang-utans in their natural habitat and find remote tribes and villages tucked away from civilisation. Malaysian Borneo is home to one of the last true wild jungles.

Relax on white sandy beaches and in clear water in the tropical paradise of Langkawi. Malaysia’s silicon valley, Penang, is hardly noticeable to the casual tourist as they are often distracted by the sleepy fishing villages and luxurious beach resorts that rest there. Visit the space age high rises in Kuala Lumpur and shop till you drop, then pick your self up and take part in the thumping nightlife of this dazzling city. Go adventuring on a Malaysian holiday in Borneo. Visit the Orang-utans, discover a remote tribal village, scale the granite mountains and brave the thick jungle.

Malaysia is a topical state that is hot and humid year round. Visit at anytime of year. There is a high chance of a quick down pour where ever you are in Malaysia, but the odds are it will be welcome refreshment from the sticky day. Time seems to slow down in Malaysia and the annoyances of home, like getting wet in the rain, seem to wash away after a day or two of relaxing in this amazing country.

Visit the tropical paradise of Langkawi and enjoy white sandy beaches and clear warm water. There is no shortage of spas, seafood restaurants and beach bars in Langkawi, but if you wish to find isolation it is just as easy as finding a place to grab a cocktail on the beach at sunset.

Find a beach side paradise also in Penang. The city of Penang is known as Malaysia’s silicon valley, but so close to it you will find luxurious beach side resorts and lazy fishing villages along the coast. Find beautiful street food and markets in Penang. Malaysian cuisine is characterised by its fusion between Malay, Chinese and Indian influences.

Head to the vibrant and space aged city of Kuala Lumpur and find a shopping mecca. Enjoy the pumping nightlife in this amazing city and also find night time food markets and unsuspecting delights from street food carts scattered through town.

Find adventure in Malaysian Borneo. Visit the Orang-utans in the wild in the jungles of Sarawak, the only place in the world that you can see them in their natural habitat. Take a long boat trip down a murky river and discover a remote tribal village. Explore the jungles and climb to the top of Mt Kinabalu, Malaysia’s tallest mountain, in Sabah.

Malaysia is a true tropical paradise and must visit for anyone looking to relax island style or, conversely looking for a real jungle adventure.
