South Bank
Former site of World Expo ’88. Features an artificial beach surrounded by parks and with shops, cafés and restaurants. A very popular place.

Mt Coot-tha
Brisbane’s tallest mountain. A popular spot with a great view. Home to a Botanical Garden and a Planetarium. Approximately 6 kilometres west of the city centre. The mountain is 287 metres above sea level and forms the eastern extent of the Taylor Range
Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium
Located in the beautiful subtropical Brisbane Botanic Gardens.
New Farm Park
Historic park, famous for the long line of jacaranda trees and its large rose gardens that contain hundreds of variety of roses.
Roma Street Parklands
The world’s largest subtropical garden in a city centre is home to 1.800 unique species of plants.
University of Queensland
See the majestic sandstone buildings surrounded by ornamental lakes, Jacaranda lined boulevards and some of the finest architecture. Seeworthy is the Great Court, Art Museum, the Eleanor Schonell Bridge, the Schonell Theatre, the lakes and Wordsmiths Bookshops.
Wheel of Brisbane
