Like many Tyrol-based destinations, Ischgl provides visitors with numerous outdoor adventure opportunities. Go hiking, go cycling, and enjoy some skiing, depending on the season you choose. Nearly 50 mechanical lifts allow you to take advantage of the 238km of groomed pistes that allow you to enjoy your next holiday to its fullest.

Ischgl is one of the few villages in Tyrol that offers a vibrant nightlife as well. You’ll find several lively parties going on here throughout the year. Several pop concerns are held throughout the year, inviting globally famous names to come perform. Some recent artists have included Bob Dylan, Rod Stewart, Alicia Keys, and The Corrs.

Ischgl is also a border community, with the ski resort here directly connected to the resort of Samnaun in Switzerland. Many of the lifts that are available for this outdoor resort converge at Idalp, where there is a fantastic restaurant to enjoy. Idalp offers several easy pistes that are quite wide, along with a modern snow park to enjoy.

The steepest ski run in Ischgl offers a gradient of 70% and is located in the Hooboden bowl. Take the Lange Wand chair lift to experience this expert run. A majority of the ski runs available here, however, are classified as being red runs. With concerts at the top of the mountain, streams to hike along, and plenty of skiing opportunities, Ischgl offers plenty of recreational opportunities to enjoy. Make your way here and you’ll get to experience some of the best that Tyrol and Austria can offer.
