Travel to United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates, or UAE, is on the southern portion of the Arabian Peninsula, bordered by Saudi Arabia and Oman.  It has one of the world’s most unique economies, as about 80% of the country’s population consists of expatriates. The country itself is formed from 7 self-governing emirates that each has a monarch. Each monarch then serves on a Supreme Council.

Tourism in UAE tends to focus on two of the modern cities found within the country: Abu Dhabi and Dubai. These ultra-modern cities feature lavish shopping centers, well-developed beaches and recreational centers, and access to ancient attractions. You’ll find turquoise seas that border white-sand beaches and perpetual sunshine grace your face as you set out for a morning shopping adventure.

Visiting the UAE does require the following of certain religious restrictions in public, even for those who are not religious. This includes following a certain dress code, not consuming alcohol in public, and observing eating and drinking customs during holy periods. Certain laws involving drugs and relationships should also be reviewed before flying to this country as enforcement can be quite strict.

You’ll find all of the world’s major chains have a presence in the UAE. You’ll also find several unique opportunities await you here, including the first underwater suites.

A majority of visitors from Europe can travel to the United Arab Emirates may receive a free entry permit stamped in their passport on arrival and stay for up to 30 days without a visa. Additional visas require an additional renewal cost.

Best of United Arab Emirates.

The United Arab Emirates are well known for their recent boom in development. Cities around the Emirates, most notably Dubai and Abu Dhabi, are developing to the point of over indulgence. You will find the world’s tallest skyscraper, manmade islands in the shape of palm trees and the most over the top shopping malls in the UAE. However, it is not all glitz and glamour in this Muslim nation. You will find beautiful rolling sand dunes, spectacular mosques, ancient gold souks and fragrant spice markets right next to these modern marvels.

Find the best of all worlds in Dubai. This modern metropolis is home to glamorous clubs and fine dining restaurants that rival the world’s best. Tour the city and see the palm tree islands and extravagant 7 star hotels, but just over the creek find traditional mud buildings and ancient spice souks looking over busy river ports and shisha cafes. Take day trips from Dubai and visit the endless rolling sand dunes or travel a little further and find the craggy mountains of Oman that surround spectacular fjords of ultramarine seas.

Being a desert nation, the United Arab Emirates can get very hot. The best time to avoid the scorching heat of the sun is between November and April. The sun is much more inviting during these months and cool breezes whisk across the dunes in the evening.

The United Arab Emirates crown jewel is unequivocally the emirate of Dubai. The coastal city by the same name is a one of a kind destination that will fascinate any traveller. Everything here is brand new and of the best quality. Find the tallest skyscraper on earth in Downtown Dubai, a testament to the over indulgence found in this glimmering city. Tour the city and see 7 star hotels on manmade islands that look like palm trees.

If you are coming to shop you will not be disappointed. The Dubai Mall contains hundreds of high fashion and designer brand name shops. There is a gold souk inside the mall! If you have had enough shopping, you won’t even have to leave the mall. The Dubai mall contains a full ski slope, an Olympic sized ice rink and a massive aquarium.

The UAE is not all skyscrapers and shopping malls. Beautiful rolling sand dunes and craggy mountains characterise the countryside of this fascinating country. Find perfect beaches, deep blue oceans on the coast and humble Bedouin villages spotted with date palm oases.

The cities here may be new but the emirates still hold on to their roots. Traditional architecture and huge mosques are common, gold and spice souks are a wonder to behold and boats are busy in the water transporting goods for people around the traditional areas.

Whether you are interested in a life of luxury or discovering traditional Arabic culture, the United Arab Emirates make for a wonderful holiday destination.
