Negril

Negril is unlike any other place on earth. It has some of the most amazing beaches which stretch for around four miles. If Negril doesn’t make you feel like you’re in heaven then nowhere else will. If you haven’t had enough adventure after snorkeling and cliff diving then a modest hour’s trip down to Westmoreland and Mayfield Falls will elevate you to the next stage of paradise. Mayfield Falls are waterfalls along the Mayfield River, a really nice, shallow stream through the jungle. Along with a tour guide you have the chance to jump in deep pools, sit under waterfalls and swim through an underwater cave!

Negril is also a place where you can enjoy a spot of shopping. The tourist crafts market at the edge of the town is a great place to pick up souvenirs and nick nacks. You’re haggling skills can really be put through a test here as the sellers are willing to bargain especially if you are looking to buy more than one thing. American dollars can be pretty much used almost anywhere in and around Negril so you don’t have to worry about changing your currency.
