You have plenty of places to choose from when on vacation in Princeton. The heart of the area is always a popular destination and in Princeton that area is Princeton University. Though the college students are everywhere, the area provides a relaxing and safe environment for families and couples alike. The area is beautiful and filled with greenery and giant brick houses and buildings popping up between the trees. For a quiet tranquil stay, choose East Windsor, for a downtown vacation, stay in downtown Princeton.

Monuments, memorials, historical sights, Princeton has them all. From the site of the Battle of Princeton at Princeton Battlefield State Park, which hosts the Clarke House Museum, filled with military artifacts and battle exhibits to the Mercer Oak, which is a tree, which was in the middle of the battlefield, check it out. Another popular memorial is the Ionic Colonnade, a stone patio marking the graves of past Americans and also a site for many local hiking trails.

Architecture lovers should definitely take a tour of Princeton’s beautiful buildings. The Drumthwacket Mansion, which is the governor’s home, is a clear example of this atmosphere.
