A four hour drive from Adelaide, the historical seaside town of Robe provides old-world charm, outstanding natural beauty, amazing beaches and a wealth of attractions.
Stretching out for 17 kilometres, beautiful Long Beach is the perfect place to spend a day, whether you want to lie back and take it easy or go swimming, surfing or fishing. The waters at Robe are also a great destination for diving: while you’re down there find yourself some sea snails and you can enjoy a delicious barbecue for dinner.
If you enjoy hiking, you’ll find a number of great walks along the rugged cliffs and coastline. You’ll want to make sure you visit the national parks in the area too. Naracoorte Caves National Park, which comprises five incredible caves as well as the Wonambi Fossil Centre, is a World Heritage Listed Area and a must-see site for anyone visiting South Australia.
