Transport, Getting There And Getting Around

Southampton Airport has great public transport links. You can travel from the airport to the city centre by coach, bus and train.

There is a train from Southampton Airport Parkway station that takes you directly to the city centre in 7 minutes. There are also great links to London by train, with plenty of trains running throughout the day.

Taxis are available at the airport 24 hours a day and operated by Checker Cars. There is a taxi desk located in the main concourse near arrivals where you can order your taxi.

This airport on the outskirts of the Southern coastal city was relatively small until recently, specialising in flights to the Channel Islands. The arrival of Flybe has meant that much has changed.
