Less adventurous visitors can take a trip into the past at Heritage Park, the largest living history museum in Canada. The historical village is a hands-on way to learn about Calgary’s history and includes restaurants and even a brewery for an authentic taste of the past.

Visitors looking for a more relaxing way to spend their time can go to Prince’s Island Park to enjoy a relaxing picnic, bike ride or stroll. The little island park is a refreshing piece of nature in the middle of the city. Of course, the city itself has its fair share of metropolitan attractions, and Calgary is famous for its shopping.
