All equipment is provided by the island, so you don’t have to worry about that, and they cater for people of all skill levels, so it doesn’t matter if you’ve never been snorkelling before. Bring along a friend, and you can explore the depths and wonders of this stunning area together. Swim with fish of all different colours, see coral of all different shapes and sizes – all of this will truly take your breath away.
Another wonder of nature you can see here are the green and loggerhead turtles. You can watch them hatch their eggs, waddling up the sand from the ocean, depending on the season. You might also be able to catch the hatchlings emerging from their soft spot in the sand and joining their brothers and sisters in the ocean. You can also go bird watching, and see many rare birds that only live exclusively around this area. There is a specially designed bird hide area for this purpose, and you won’t be disappointed at the variety of birdlife you will see.
If you’re wanting to be a little more active, you can go on a tour of the island. There are day and night tours available – the night tours involve a stargazing component as well! You can go on your own, taking your time, or you can join some others on a guided tour.
